Breakfast at Wimbledon

Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, and is widely regarded as the most prestigious.   It has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London since 1877 and played on outdoor grass courts.

I try to watch as much as possible over the two weeks leading up to the final, but the Saturday and Sunday finals are a must watch.   On Sunday morning I will be up early to prepare and British themed breakfast then park myself in front of the TV to watch the men in the final game.

Wimbledon place setting.

Napkin rings and place cards.

British themed items used on the table.

The tennis players are Wilton cake toppers.

I made the wine charms using tennis rackets I found on Etsy last year.   The other London themed charms were purchased recently at Hobby Lobby.

Server decor.  The British teapot tea bag holders were found at  World Market in June while home in North Carolina.  The British themed tea pot was purchased at a consignment store in Boca Raton last year.

The little tennis rackets on top of the plates are bubble wands I found at Dollar Tree a few years ago. They were originally hot pink and neon green.   The center logo and small black tennis rackets were cut by using my Cricut cutter.   I used a product called Wacky Tac to adhere them to the bottom of a clear plate.

Overhead view of the table.

The charger plate covers were made with fabric found at StitchCraft in Boca Raton.
