Doggie Easter Parade

It's hard to believe Easter is this weekend.   This year is zooming by way too fast.    I love decorating for Easter.  I have a great supply of Easter dished and had my table planned out until  I found these plates at Pier 1 last week.   They big yellow dog in middle reminds me of my first dog Casey.  My current dog Cooper (pictures below) is also yellow and he really has bunny like ears.  I hope everyone will have a blessed Easter and enjoy special time with your loved ones.

The place setting.   I love these happy plates!

The plate stack starts with a scalloped edge turquoise charger I recently found at Tuesday Morning.   The pink plates are from HomeGoods.  The Dog Easter Parade plates are from Pier 1. The table cloth is from HomeGoods this season.
It was difficult to get a great picture of the plate. They are currently on sale at Pier 1.

I made this picture of Cooper last year at Easter.

I used several illuminated pedestals, crystal faceted hurricanes and illuminated mercury glass tulips from the Valerie Parr Hill Collection at QVC.  The foiled egg candle rings are also from Valerie.

The pink goblets belonged to my Grandmother.  She used these with her Desert Rose everyday dishes.

The table is so colorful at night.

The foiled egg candle rings are by Valerie Parr Hill.

I love the Faberge Lilies of the Valley egg.  I made these eggs a few years ago and surrounded the egg holder with a Valerie Parr Hill beaded napkin ring.

I made the ceramic bunnies in the early 80's.

The Wallace Silversmith Napoleon Bee flatware.

I've had the Faberge style wine charms for several years.

I found this cute napkin idea on Pinterest. I decorated the plastic eggs years ago with puff paint.

I used Valerie Parr Hills Spring hydrangea & magnolia garland with matching candle rings on the server.

Happy Easter!

Catherine

I don't do much in the way of Easter decorating - but, this is the touch I would like to have if I did! It hits all the points that are important for me in holiday decorating!
Thanks for sharing - you've made me want to chomp off a chocolate bunny's ears!
