I'm trying to bring a little Winter feel to South Florida with the Ice Skating table. As I post this blog the AC is pumping wide open on a sunny warm day. The ice skates vase in the center of the table is from the Lisa Robertson Collection. Some of you may remember Lisa as a host on QVC shopping channel for over 20 years. A few years ago she left QVC and started her own company that offers clothing, makeup, unique Italian jewelry and home decor items. She travels the world buying unique items that you really do not find in most stores. Every Sunday night at 7PM Eastern time she does a Facebook live hour presentation of items that will be available for purchase the following week. The items go live on the website at noon each day and they sell out very quickly.

The napkin rings are from Pier One a couple years ago. |
The snowflake napkins are by Ralph Lauren and found recently at HomeGoods. |
I found these pretty icy blue goblets at Goodwill a couple weeks ago. |
Overhead view of the table. |
The plate stack starts with mirrored chargers found at Tuesday Morning. The dinner plate is from HomeGoods. The snowflake salad is a thrift store find several years ago. |
The table cloth is made from fabric found at Hobby Lobby. |
Everything used on the server with the exception of the two small illuminated snowmen is from Valerie Parr Hill. |
I picked up the icy blue illuminated faceted glass hurricanes a couple weeks during one of her QVC shows. I also have them in clear and pink. The blue is currently sold out, but I have a feeling she will bring them back to the Q before Easter. |
The illuminated snowmen are from Lisa Robertson. |
This table is so magical at night. |

Oh I love all the winter white and sparkle! The ice skates vase is so fabulous, what a fun winter wonderland you have created! I am so tired of winter, I'm ready to think Spring!! Your table and room is like a trip to a wintery locale, wonderful Catherine!

Thank you Jenna. It doesn't feel much like Winter here in South Florida so I had to create the feel indoors. I'm ready for Spring too, although that brings the unwanted heat and humidity... then hurricane season.. UGH! Oh well, hopefully another couple months of peace.
DeleteWhat a drop dead stunner! Especially those mirrored chargers, I am going to have to go on the hunt for those babies.
ReplyDeleteThank you Christine. :) Check your local Tuesday Morning. Hopefully they will have them in stock.
DeleteGreat winter feel to this.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Anne. :)
DeleteCatherine, your ice skating table is fabulous. I have those mirror chargers too, they are gorgeous. A winterland delight. The snowflakes and snowmen are a great addition. Loving that pretty blue candle. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Linda. :) The charges are great right? I'm so happy I found a couple more at Tuesday Morning recently. I'll need six when I move to North Carolina in a few years.
DeleteThis is a wintry table for sure! The mirrored chargers (so "icy"), the certerpiece vase (a showstopper!), the sideboard with all the trees and snowmen - everything works so well with your theme. I'd much prefer your version of snow and ice to the real thing, though!
ReplyDeleteThank you Joy. Hopefully your Winter weather will turn to Spring really quickly.
DeleteWhat a winter wonderland! Love those mirrored charges, and the pretty skates as centerpiece. I also love those tall light up trees. Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm. xo Kathleen
