Flamingo Finale

It's hard to believe Summer 2017 will be ending in three weeks.  Living in hot and humid South Florida we look forward to Fall, but the cooler temperatures will not show up until late December or January.    I have  two more Summer themed tables planned then it will be time to break out the pumpkins, acorns and pine cones and celebrate Fall.  It's time to say so long to the pretty flamingos this week.    I have enjoyed my beautiful pink feather friends and look forward to their return next Summer.

Flamingo Finale

 Place setting.

I love the fun flamingo soup bowls by Cynthia Rowley.

The cut black glass champagne flutes were found at Home Goods last week.   I purchased them to use on  my New Years Eve table, but I really like them on this table.

I tucked one of the Fontanini palm trees inside the lantern with a flameless Lisa Robertson candle and a small flamingo.

Flamingo salt & pepper shakers are from Cracker Barrel last Summer.  The palm trees are made by Fontanini and were purchased at the Christmas Palace in Fort Lauderdale.   They are made to go with a nativity, but I use them often on my tropical tablescapes.
Centerpiece lantern, shells and flamingos.

The wine charms are Lilly Pulitzer.

I found these cute flamingo drink skewers at Target this Summer.

The Kate Spade napkins are from Home Goods.

The tablecloth is made from fabric purchased recently at Calico Corners in Boca Raton.   The minute I spotted this fabric on the roll in the store I new it would be perfect with the Cynthia Rowley plates.

The layers.

The plate stack starts with a high gloss black charger plate.  The dinner plate was purchased this Spring at Home Goods.   The flamingo plates are by Cynthia Rowley Summer 2016 and found at Home Goods.

  1. I have been gathering things to set a flamingo-themed table ever since my granddaughter (now 5) became infatuated with them. Your tables give me so much inspiration! I love the tablecloth fabric and your lantern centerpiece. The Cynthia Rowley plates and bowls are such fun, and the black champagne flutes are the perfect accent for them. Thank you for sharing this fun table.

    1. Thank you so much Joy! There are so many flamingo items on the market these days. I'm sure your granddaughter will love a flamingo themed table. I was in TJMaxx this week and picked up a few more flamingo plates for next season.

    1. Thank you Linda! I loved those flutes the moment I noticed them on the shelf at Home Goods. I purchased them to use on my New Years Eve table, but decided to give them a try on the pink, black and white themed table. :)
