Tommy Bahama Inky Palms

One of my favorite fabric stores 1502 Fabrics  posted a beautiful Tommy Bahama fabric on their Instagram page this Spring. While home this June I visited both the Winston-Salem and High Point stores to pick up the fabric plus other beautiful fabrics.   It was new to their inventory and had not arrived yet so I ordered two yards and had them ship it to FL.    I knew it would make the perfect table cloth for a seaside table using these beautiful plates I found at Z Gallerie a few years ago.

I purchased the lantern at Hobby Lobby and used one of my 3D Flameless candles from the Lisa Robertson Collection.  Her candles are fabulous.   They are operated with a remote that offers various settings.

I used double sided tape to adhere the shells to rattan napkin rings.

Overhead view of the tablecloth I made with the Tommy Bahama Inky Palm fabric purchased at 1502 Fabrics.  The ladies at 1502 are very helpful.  Click the link above and head to their website to order the fabric and see all the fabulous fabrics they have in stock. I also picked up several yards over other fabrics and will be busy sewing for late Summer and Fall tables.

Stacking the table.

Overhead view of the finished table.

The stack starts with a large white ceramic charger plate.  The dinner plates is Catalina Medallion Blue by Home and in stock at Replacements, Ltd.  The white open weave plate was from my Mom's collection.  I think it's a Valerie Parr Hill from many years ago.   The top plate was purchased at Z Gallerie a few Summers ago.  They are the salad plates from the Del Mar Sapphire collection.

The Del Mar Sapphire Collection from Z Gallerie.

The large mercury glass spheres are from the Valerie Parr Hill Collection from QVC.   This style is currently not in stock, but she has newer style in stock.   They light up and are so pretty in the evening.  The Mercury Glass candle sticks are also from Valerie's collection.

    1. Thank you Darlene! Yes, you are very close to the Winston-Salem store. They should have it on the rack by now. I love visiting their store while home in Welcome visiting the family. Hoping to make another trip home this October.

    1. Thank you Pam! We have one about 15 minutes from me in Boca Raton. I drive by it all the time, but rarely can find the time to stop in. It was my lucky day when I found these a couple years ago on clearance. I love blue and white so I could not pass up the great buy.

  5. I love it all especially the Z Gallerie plate with the seashells. Every layer of dishes enhances each other so nicely. The tablecloth is amazing- what a great pattern. I like the vignette of candles holders, mercury glass globes (they remind me of glass floats) and seashells!

    1. Thank you Liz! I love the Z Gallerie plates too! I wish I would have sourced the dinner plates too when I found the salads at a close out. Oh well, one of these days they may show up on eBay or at Goodwill. I enjoy the mercury glass globes. They light up and are so pretty at night. I couldn't get a great night time picture. I have a few more seaside tables over the next few weeks and I'm thinking of putting putting some jute cord over them to look more like glass floats. Thank you for stopping by! :)
