Mother's Day

The Mother's Day table is set using my Mom's  fine china and crystal.  I always admired the beautiful china and crystal displayed in her breakfront along with many family heirloom pieces.   While home last June I packed it up and brought it home to Florida to enjoy.  This was her wedding china pattern that she selected in the late 50's.

Mother's Day tablescape.

Mom's china pattern is Sandra by Royal Jackson .  It was manufactured from 1949 to 1957.

Place cards for my Mom and Grandmother's.  The pineapple place card holders are from Pottery Barn.

My Mama Mary Lou, Grandma Dorothy and Grandma Louise

I love the miniature cup and saucer wine charm on Mom's crystal.

I found these cute charms at Michael's.  I thought they would make the perfect wine charms.

I used two pieces from the Valerie Parr Hill collection in the center of the table.  The round mirror with faceted glass accents (below) holds the  11" shimmering mirror hurricane with microlights

Overhead view of the table.

The plate stack.

I used several illuminated candle holders, crystal hurricanes and candle rings from the Valerie Parr Hill Collection at QVC.

I made the stained glass tulip in the early 80's for my Grandma Smith.
